Dr. Debajit Palit, Professor – Energy Policy, NTPC School of Business.
Prof Palit is noted energy and environment professional with 25 years of experience in the field of renewable energy, clean energy access, electricity policy and regulation, rural electrification, decentralized electricity solutions to mention a few. Prior to joining the NTPC School of Business, Prof Palit had a two decade long association with the noted think-tank The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), where he has completed nearly 200 analytical, action research and implementation projects in the field of energy and environment besides leading the highly acclaimed and award-winning solar lighting project - Lighting a Billion Lives. Academically, Prof Palit holds a Master’s degree in Physics and Ph.D. in Energy Policy and has been listed in the Top 2% World's Scientists (for 2019 & 2020) by Stanford University and Elsevier BV for his noteworthy contribution to the body of knowledge.
